At
Apple Computer, Fred Diamond designed and implemented sales channel
programs for Apple's large business and government customers that
reduced expenses and grew revenue. His big claim to fame was
creating the "Federal Support Coordinator" program which
identified and supported over 700 key customers at Apple's largest
Federal agencies, which made it a lot easier for the sales team
to focus and some more to accounts.
A key member of Apple's new Federal
Systems Group, he managed all technical customer support, training,
and service initiatives worldwide. Key customer accounts included
NASA, Naval Weapons Center at China Lake, and the Los Angeles AFB.
He also was a key member of the Powerbook
Duo product development team, representing Apple's service and support
interests and constituency. The Powerbook Duo was the industry's
first docking station supported laptop.
While at Apple, he was one of 35 employees
hand selected to participate in Apple's final Executive MBA program
at San Jose State University.
