Technologies
One of the benefits for our clients is that we have a solid grasp on many technologies, having worked with some of the world’s leading technology companies such as Apple, Compaq, HP, IBM Cognos, Oracle, Microsoft and Compuware. We have helped companies in the ecosystem of the aforementioned, including resellers, technology partners, and customers bring products and services to market. We have worked with hundreds of customers as well and have deep expertise in how IT customers buy, why they buy, and what they expect from their vendors.
Here is a sampling of the technologies we have worked with:
Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM: We have been impressed by Microsoft’s movements in the ERP and financial management space beginning with its acquisitions of Great Plains, Solomon, and Navision over the past decade. We have worked with dozens of Microsoft partners to help them develop strong selling processes and go-to-market strategies. One of the critical ways has been to help these partners develop vertical approaches into markets that need the solutions and that the company can bring true value. This approach has been well received. One of our clients has been recognized as one of Microsoft’s top three partners in the world after only being in business for a few years.
IT Product Value-Added Reselling: With our background at Apple and Compaq, we have developed world-class sales and marketing plans for two of the top computer manufacturers of all time. We understand the entire supply chain throughout the channel and have helped growing and successful product resellers develop well-rounded programs to grow their product and service line offerings. In fact, Ingram tapped us to offer this assistance to their customer base as part of the Government-Education Alliance. In this role, we offered counsel to hundreds of product resellers on marketing strategies to expand their customer penetration. We also helped the industry’s second largest direct-to-market reseller, GovConnection, a division of PC Connection, to grow its business back after losing its GSA schedule.
Predictive Analytics and Business Intelligence: We are fascinated by the possibility of business intelligence and more recently predictive analytics for companies in the healthcare, government, and financial services markets. We have helped leading Oracle and Cognos partners bring world-class services to market and are up on the many advances that have happened in the predictive analytics space over the past few years.
IVR and Contact Center Technologies: We helped the company that invented outsourced IVR services, Contact Solutions, expand their marketing exposure. Our understanding of call/contact center technology was invaluable as we helped the firm develop its brand identity, marketing programs, and competitive positioning.
Database Technologies: We’ve helped companies create and find markets for technologies such as EII (enterprise information integration), ETL, (extract, transform, and load), data warehousing, and other services required to help expand the use of customer’s data.
Microsoft Technologies: We have helped companies bring SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, and other technologies to market.
Professional Services: We have worked with service companies that have brought IT services, recruiting, management consulting, legal services, and others to market. We look at the end game when helping bring these services to market. What is the company hoping to achieve? What are the expected revenues? Are they trying to achieve thought leadership?
